1. Introduction

MyWalletAlerts is privacy-first by design. We do not ask for your email or personally identifiable information (PII). We collect only the minimal data necessary to deliver wallet alerts via Telegram. All sensitive data is encrypted using strong, industry-standard cryptography.

About Telegram and Your Privacy

MyWalletAlerts uses Telegram to deliver notifications for ease of use and accessibility. Telegram's bot messages are not end-to-end encrypted, and all communications are subject to Telegram's data handling policies. While we minimize and encrypt the data we handle, we recommend that users who require maximum privacy consider these limitations before using our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the following information required to provide our service:

• Account Identifier: Each account is assigned a randomly generated identifier (UUID). Your Telegram User ID is stored only as a one-way hash and as encrypted data. The raw Telegram User ID is never stored in plaintext. We decrypt your Telegram ID only as needed to deliver alerts via the Telegram Bot API. These measures ensure your privacy is maintained while allowing alerts to function.
• Wallet Addresses: The public blockchain addresses you choose to monitor are stored only as hashed and encrypted ciphertext. No plaintext wallet addresses are retained.
• Blockchain Data: Public on-chain data for the addresses you monitor is used solely for generating alerts.
• UTXO Data: For blockchains that use the UTXO model (e.g., Bitcoin), we temporarily and securely store encrypted information about your wallet's unspent transaction outputs to enable outgoing transfer alerts. This data is automatically deleted as soon as it is no longer required, specifically, when the UTXO is spent, to ensure minimal retention and maximize your privacy.
• Payment Data: If you purchase paid access, your payment records are linked only to your randomly generated account identifier (UUID). Your Telegram User ID is never stored in plaintext or connected to payment data. This setup ensures your payment history cannot be linked to your personal identity.

3. What We Don't Collect

We are committed to data minimization and your privacy. To that end, we do NOT collect or store any of the following information when you use MyWalletAlerts:

• Email addresses: We do not require or request your email address to use MyWalletAlerts, and you will never be asked to provide one to access our core services. If you choose to contact us via email for support or inquiries, your email address and any information you voluntarily provide in your message will be used solely to respond to your inquiry. This correspondence is kept separate from your wallet monitoring account and is never linked to your service data.
• Names or other personal identification information: We never ask for your real name, government-issued identification, or any other personal data that could directly identify you.
• Private keys or seed phrases: We will never ask for, collect, or store your private keys, seed phrases, or any other sensitive credentials that could grant access to your funds or wallets. Do not share such information with anyone claiming to represent MyWalletAlerts.
• Location data: We do not track, collect, or store your physical location, IP address, device information, or geographic metadata.
• Payment details or financial information: We do not collect or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or any personally identifiable payment information. All payments are handled through cryptocurrency transactions linked only to anonymized account identifiers.
• User behavior analytics or tracking: We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral analytics, user profiling, or automated decision-making. We do not track or analyze your activity within the bot. Wallet addresses you provide are processed strictly for delivering requested alerts and are not used for behavioral analysis or tracking.
• Plaintext Telegram IDs: Your Telegram User ID is never stored in plaintext. It is always encrypted or stored as a cryptographic hash, and decrypted only as necessary to deliver alerts via the Telegram Bot API.

Transparency Note: If you contact us for support via email, your email address and message will be processed only for the purpose of addressing your inquiry. This information is not connected to your monitored wallets or Telegram account and is not used for any other purpose. If you wish, you may encrypt your support emails using our public PGP key for additional privacy.

Why This Matters

Most online services collect unnecessary personal data, exposing users to privacy risks and potential misuse. At MyWalletAlerts, privacy is a core design principle. We collect only the minimum information required to deliver alerts, and never store sensitive identifiers. This approach ensures your data remains private, secure, and never used for tracking or advertising. You can use our service with confidence, knowing your privacy is protected by design.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to:

• Deliver wallet activity alerts via Telegram
• Monitor the blockchain addresses you add
• Ensure the proper functioning of the service.

5. Data Storage, Security, and Encryption

• All sensitive user data; including account identifiers, wallet addresses, UTXO data; is encrypted at rest and in transit using keyed hashes and ciphertext, following industry best practices.
• All user data is stored on privacy-focused servers hosted by Hetzner in Germany, a jurisdiction chosen for its strong privacy protections.
• Upon account deletion via the Telegram bot, all associated data (including monitored wallets and alert preferences) is permanently and irreversibly removed. Data recovery is not possible.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information or account data with any third party for any purpose.

For privacy and security reasons, we do not provide features to export your monitored wallet list or any other personal data.

9. International Users & Data Transfers

All user data is stored on servers located in Germany. We do not transfer your personal or account data outside of Germany. However, to monitor blockchain activity and deliver alerts, we may need to retrieve public blockchain data from third-party nodes or APIs, which may be located outside Germany. In such cases, only public wallet addresses (never your account or personal information) are transmitted, solely for the purpose of detecting on-chain activity.

10. No Cookies or Tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technologies on our website. Your browsing activity is not monitored or stored in any way.

11. Third-Party Services

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or social media integrations.

12. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data only to deliver the services you request (performance of contract). We do not use your data for profiling, marketing, or any secondary purpose.

13. Your Rights

You may access or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Telegram bot. Deletion is irreversible.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page.
